Orange, rust looking spots in paint, Alpine white

I have had my car since October 2012, over the course of winter I noticed a ton of little orange spots in the paint. They look like tiny little rust spots. They are everywhere, front end, both sides, roof and rear. What is it? It really cant be rust. Cleaned the whole car last night and the spots were taken care of and they are gone, for now.

Definitely rail dust and very common but please do not go straight to opti coat. If you do you run the risk of sealing the rail dust. Clean and remove it properly first by using a clay bar. Then by all means seal away, pick your potion.

use a decon gel to loosen the rail dust and iron deposits.

Wolf's Decon Gel or Auto Finesse Iron Out will work our great.

follow with a clay bar
