questions about HIDs on halogen headlights?

i would like to put some in my car. here are some ?s

1. do i need a wire harness or just plug and play to the buld wires?
2. do i need to remove the headlight? it looks super tight.
3. is a DIY avaliable?
4. should i get 35w or 55w (wattage)
5. do i need a Error Eliminator ?

i'm thinking of getting them from ddmtuning. i really dont want to pay $150 for hids when to me they are all the same and most offer a lifetime warranty.

thanks in advance.

1) dont need a harness
2) dont need to remove headlight. for xenon cars there's a flap inside the wheel well to access the bulbs and change them. it should be the same for halogens im guessing
4) 35w or 55w is fine. 55w is brighter but produces more heat. may cause yellowing of the housing from the inside though (this usually happens on cheaper cars...bmw SHOULD be fine..key word SHOULD
5) You have to get a kit with CANBUS (error canceller/capacitor w.e you want to call it).
Ideally get one that has it built into the ballast cause sometimes the voltages of the add on ones comes out different than each other so one side will be brighter than the other of slightly off color.

I'm selling my hid kit, cancellors, led parking light bulbs and led fog lightbulbs very cheap. I am turning in my car very soon and plan on getting xenons, so I will no longer need my hids. Pm if interested

Did you get the one's from ddmtunning? how were they??
I have always bought hids from them and they are great and cheap. The only problem is that when you don't buy them at the shop itself , they ship them from china or somewhere over seas, and the coloring the hids is always blue so i have a friend that buys them for me in Cali and ships them over to me.
