Need a Columbus body shop.... Help!
I jacked another thread about the recent Columbus meet to get some suggestions on a body shop to do a simple sand and paint repair. Achbach and TruePerformance were recommended, mostly, I suppose, because they are authorized BMW shops?
Well, from all accounts, Achbach takes too long, so I got an estimate from True Performance. To have them do it, it will be $677. Yikes!! I'll post a picture if you all insist, but trust me, it's just a curb rash on the very bottom of the bumper. Almost $700 sounds crazy to me. I understand that they are a top quality shop. The question I pose here is, do I need a top quality shop for this? It's sanding and painting a bumper. There's got to be others who can do just as good a job for cheaper. Any suggestions? I figure I could put a painted lip on over it or a pair of splitters for cheaper than $700.

paintworks in grandview ave does a decent job with a cheap price if i'm not wrong...the shop looks shady from outside but if you're tight on cash then thats the place to go....just give josh (the owner) enough time, dont rush him and he'll do a good job
