200 Miles On This Kit! Its In Brand New Condition! Just Needs A New Home!


I have a basically brand new VF Engineering VF540 supercharger kit for sale. I installed the kit about 200 miles ago because I had a buyer lined up to purchase my car with the kit on it but the deal fell through. I am trading my M3 in for a new car and would like to sell this kit to someone that wants a great deal on a supercharger kit!

**The kit only runs 4.0-4.5 psi which is very safe. With that being said the car will make 550 crank hp with 93 octane on a completely otherwise stock M3. The difference that this supercharger made on the M3's performance was astonishing! This kit basically makes the car feel like a super-car when put in "M" mode but still retains the BMW drive-ability when in normal mode. The power is very smooth at partial throttle but when you mash the gas it puts you in the seat!

***Another fact that I feel is very important to note is that when driving the car easy with the power button off, you will achieve 25 mpg combined highway and city driving. I do about 75% city driving with 25% highway driving and i currently get 25 mpg average.

You should consider posting a ballpark price. Also consider that a tune is going to set the new owner back $1k.

You need to put a ballpark, a VF620 is being sold for $7k. This would give your buyers better price point.

It's sad to see these kits being stripped off before even having a chance to break in and fully adapt . Great kit. Upgradable to 625 kit as it shares many commonalities.

there is also no pictures or information on the vf620 kit. whoever buys this kit is at least knows the facts about what the are buying.

also the buyer will have to pay 1k for the software which in my opinion is horrible. i understand that the company doesn't want to give the software out for free but i think 1k is a little high. 500 would be more acceptable.

You are telling me! That's why when reselling a kit, it's hard to get a good price because you have to incorporate the new tune fee. GLWS OP. I'm sorry you didn't get to use it much.

The kit will be off of the car by Thursday the latest so I can take photos of the kit off of the car then. I have the receipt for the purchase so the buyer can see the purchase date. I have the original packaging for the supercharger kit as well. The kit literally looks like it did when i first received it.

The car has never been driven in the snow nor rain so the kit is still as clean as it was when I first received it.

From my understanding VF engineering does not transfer warranties to any second owner.

Yeah your right I called VF engineering and they said that the warranty is for the owner not the car that its installed on so unfortunately it won't have the VF engineering 1 year 12k mile warranty.

But the kit is still in flawless shape and has been installed for about 200 miles and has worked perfectly so that indicates that the supercharger kit is in perfect working condition.

VF540 kit new = $8295.00

Your saving $1700 for a kit with 200 miles on it in perfect working condition that is in the same condition as a Brand new Kit.

I was confused by the text I quoted. It says the price is $5600 shipped, but then right after it says that shipping is not included? Unless you meant that the buyer pays for the shipping which is included in the $5600 price- but that should be obvious.
Sorry just trying to clarify. Looks like you've cleared up the confusion now.

Maybe you meant that buyer pays for SOFTWARE and not SHIPPING.
