RaceChip Pro2?
im seriously considering this, but am not really sure if its safe for my 318d?
It claims a jump from 105kW to 136W 320Nm to 410Nm http://www.racechip.de/en/chiptuning...05kw/index.php too good to be true? Ive read some forum reviews on them, but none seem to be really informative. eg. if anyone remembers, i am (still) kicking myself for not getting a 320d.. My biggest concern is if it will burn up my engine thanks

If you have a late build N20 engine, just don't freak out if your car has the electronic solenoid. Check out this thread for more info: http://www.f30post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=801285

FYI--I just heard from Terry that the JBD is good for the N47 for the 328d. He estimates that boost is about 15%, but no dyno testing has been done.

I've used it to an E90 320d (2008) with 197HP (has also the PPK kit on it, increases the power from 177HP), very well results in the middle setting of the Racechip. I believe it can easily get up to 220HP, on the more powerful setting. It was Dyno to 202HP before Racechip, and 214HP after its installation, both readings on flywheel. My proposal, go for it.... |
