I actually traded in my 335i coupe for an Audi S5 (2012) love the looks and everything but nothing drove like a BMW, really missed it. My cousin just got a new 2013 today, which I have yet to drive. So I really can't comment on the new 2013 with the Supercharged V6. But I do love my Bimmer.

well the one I had, had horrible fuel economy and between the quattro and V8 was just to heavy and didn't feel light and quick like my bimmer does. The V6 could be different, I just missed my bimmer when I had my S5, looks amazing, but that's about it.

The manual audi I drove (A5) had a rubbery manual transmission. Didn't like it as much as the 3 series.

Buying an S5 is like paying for an M3 and getting a 335i.

a guy at work has 2010 I believe V6S vert which is heavier than coupe. We drove each others cars for 5 mins in a prakinglot last year. It's a pig. And the front end with that grill is fugly! Good engine in a wrong car. No agility and precision like BMW. Good when you are driving in a straight line but handling does not compare. The driver is also more isolated.

Hell, I'd never replace my 330i with that thing.

yeah like i said my gf has an A5 vert 2.0 turbo which i agree is a pig and is nothing special....HOWEVER the 2013 S5 with the refreshed look inside and out and supercharged 6 is really nice and you can change driving mode to dynamic and its really smooth, still not as tight as a bmw but not bad...should really try driving one

I would trade my 335 for an S5 w/ the V6 Supercharger straight up. Easy to tune engine. Throw on snow tires for the Chicago winters and it'd be a tank. Ahhh, how I missed my A4 after getting a foot of snow this past weekend.

I think the A/S5 is hands down a better looking car over an e92, but it is also larger in every way, so I think the comparisons may be a bit off. I can't wait to see the first 4 series coupe vs. a/s5 head to head comparison. I agree that Audi took a high dive into the shallow end of the pool on their pricing. Comparable equipped A4's all came in at higher prices than my e90, in which BMW still has the dominant sports sedan presence so it was easy to blow them off when shopping.

I have had a range rover and and have a denali. I would get in one of my 2 b5 Audi's over those vehicles in the snow. I can't say enough about them in the slippery stuff. And a modded b5 s4 is pretty fun. Different animals though op I would get the one that puts a smile on your face! Gl

Make sure the timing belt and water pump has been replaced. They're amazing cars, but tend to have a lot of reliability issues.
