M Sport package

I just found the following. Anyone hear anything about this?

http://www.motorauthority.com/news/c...-series-coupe/

BMW M Sport package for the 3-series coupe
Posted on Sunday 5 August 2007

Both BMW dealers and M fans alike will be happy to know that the latest M Sport package for the new 3-series coupe is now available. Like the 5-series version, the new 3-series M Aero Pack has been styled to resemble the kit used on the new M3. The pack comprises an aggressive front bumper with gaping intakes, unique side skirts and new rear bumper.

Other features included in the new sports package is a set of asymmetrical 18in light alloy wheels or optional 19 inchers wearing 255mm tires at the rear and a 225mm pair up front. Handling is improved with an M Sports suspension pack that lowers the car by 15mm.

The cabin is updated with new sports buckets, and leather trim for the steering wheel, gearshifter and handbrake grip. Aluminum highlights mark the rest of the interior changes as well as ‘M’ engraved door sills and BMW Individual anthracite headliner.

I've loved it since I first saw it, but I don't think it's available here in the states.

+1. Looks like the whole Euro m-sport package, not for US.

They forgot to mention shadowline window trims.

Thie M-Sport option has been around in Europe for a while and MW Design in Vancouver has been selling the body kit. I bought one from them for my E93.

http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=75960

Are you sure they mean US dealers are getting them. I highly doubt it!

If only I could purchase this package in Germany and ship it back to the states. I'm going there beginning of October.

That big Spearco intercooler would look sweet in that front air dam.

If this was true, why would they release this as news when it has been available in Europe for quite some time?? I am assuming that it might mean US (please!!!!!!!!!!!!). I will have it someday even if I have to order from MW design.

I got all the parts except for the black window trim (was quoted $1800 Canadian) and the wheels (I have 19" iForge Monaco Hyper Black's instead).

How does your suspension height compare to the one with Sport Package?

How come yours does not have the black oval aluminium dead pedal cover? I thought that was part of the M-Sport package. My 530Xi has it.

Because it's a UK rag announcing 2008 model stuff. I am in the same desperate camp -- I have done all the M-sport mods to my 335 except the major cosmetics. I have been hoping for M-sport for many years. ZHP was a fine substitute, but why not finally synch with the Euro versions?

The E92kit.com kit is a custom developed aftermarket fibreglass kit. The OEM kit you can buy from MW Design is made of flexible poly, just like the original bumpers, and is developed by BMW.
