In Transit

800 nuber just said "your vehicle is in transit". I guess that could mean that the car made it on the Courage on 9/16 or wil be on the Topeka on 9/19. VIN still not showing on the WWL tracking website.

no way it would say in transit if it were going on the 9/19 ship, my guess would be 9/16 ship, or in transit to port of exit maybe?

Finished prod. on 9/11. Its been at the port awaiting vessel since 9/13. Today its "In Transit"

plugged the VIN on ww site many times..... "no Records Found"

call your ca, he can tell you exactly whats going on. meanwhile, my car finished production and the 1800 number saus its still awaiting transportation to the port

I'm actually getting a 7 but noticed you're in South Florida. I thought I'd be on the Courage too but when I asked my CA, I'm on the "Florida Highway" which is a K-Line ship due in Brunswick, GA at the end of next week. You may be on the same boat in which case, it's not W&W.

CA confirmed car gets to the states on 9/27. He did not give me a vessel name but I'm assuming it's on the "Florida Highway ". Good news

Yep.. scheduled to dock in Brunswick, GA on the 27th. Hopefully it'll get there a day earlier so dealer can have it by end of week... otherwise have to pick it up the week after.

Ca just e mailed that car is scheduled to arrive Brunswick today(10/1). He never gave me a vessel name but I assumed the car was on the Florida Highway which arrived on Friday(9/28). Maybe he meant arrival at the VDC today

.

Anyway the good news is car should be at dealer Monday or Tuesday next week!

"Finishing Touches" is the latest status on bmwusa website....car is definetly on dry land stateside. Hopefully in South Florida shortly!

there was a thread on that topic not too long ago. It had the trucking company name and everything. I just cant find it. but anyway there was no way of tracking it...

Hey fellas. The trucking company they use for South Florida is Hansen&Adkins. They have a website where you can go to the "Contact Us" section and find the Brunswick regional office manager telephone number. You can call and give the last 7 of your VIN, and they can tell you if they have your car and if it's on a truck.

Mine came via the Florida Highway which actually docked in Brunswick on the 28th. Car wasn't processed through the VPC and released to the trucking company until Monday Oct 1. After numerous calls from my dealer to trucking company, they have put my car on a truck and it is supposed to be here today by lunch time. So excited... I hope there are no snags along the way.

So car got off boat on the 28th and was done with the VPC on the 1st, about 3 days there, then about another 3 days until it gets on a truck and a day more to get to the dealer, dealer has to pdi, do we are looking at like a week from car getting to brunswick to your deler. Thanks a lot for this info, very helpful. What dealer are you using?

Just got a call from my CA at Pines. Yes car will arrive at dealer in a few hours he said. Delivery tomorrow.

I ordered on 8/20. Thats 6.5 weeks. Not bad at all!
