335i reset/changed some settings by itself......Weird!!

Strange thing happened yesterday.
I started my car yesterday afternoon to run to the grocery store and noticed that my AC was on full blast at 75 degrees and that the day time running lamps were on. My wife had driven the car earlier, so I thought maybe she changed the temp (temp is usually at 65 degrees. )I was in a hurry, so I didnt think much of it.

This AM I noticed that the DRL were still on, so I go through I-Drive to see whats up and its set on. I have never had these to be on. Also I noticed that the door locks were set to off instead of on.

I asked my wife if she played w/ any settings and she said no. And she usually doesnt mess w/ my settings because she knows how picky I am.

What could have caused some of the settings to change by itself? Weird!

If you didn't use different keys it could be a fuse. My car blew a fuse this past weekend and and several functions including temp, fuel consumption units and door lock settings were reset or changed.

No we used the same key.

I'll look at the fuse. Thx. But if a fuse blew that said part stop working and not just reset?

This same thing happened to me today! Been running around all day, made a five minute stop, and my FOB would not unlock the car. Had to unlock manually, started, and EVERYTHING was reset. Really weird. Anybody figure out how this may have happened?

Sometimes this happens when the battery is getting weak. I would have it tested, or if you are due for a new battery I'd consider replacing it.
