BPP w/ lease

Hey e90post. Long time troll, new BMW owner (kinda). I did the lease route and was wondering if using BPP is OK with a lease/warranty?

Thanks!

All BMW Performance parts will not void the warranty.

When your lease is up, sell those parts on here and revert your car back to stock before you turn the car in.

Or if you don't want to go through the uninstalling, the dealer should take it back with all the BPP on it.

I know doing the JB4 stuff is risky, with the tuner codes and whatnot, but how sketch is it really? Don't these tuning kits have the ability to delete the codes?

Should have worked it into the lease deal. Most of that stuff can be residualized at lease inception provide you have the selling dealer install it of course. Paying for only about 40% of the stuff makes it pretty painless to turn it all back in.

It's not that sketchy. The JB4, Procede, and Cobb all have the ability to delete codes. The JB4 and Procede offer a valet mode, but to be 100% safe you want to delete the codes and remove the tune from the car completely before service.

If you want something easier to handle you can get the COBB, you won't have to pop the hood.
