Hit a coyote last night!
Well on my way home from okc last night I hit a coyote right in the center of my lower grill. The plastic grill came off and hit my radiator. The radiator has two large gashes now. When I stopped the car on the shoulder a large cloud of steam/smoke came rolling out of the front. When I went to check the damage it stopped smoking. Didn't see any leaks at that point so I did a control check no issues found so I drove home the last 20 minutes. Checked it out today still no leaks and the coolant reservoir is still full. It was only 60 degrees here today so I couldn't really check the a/c. car seems to be normal other than my messed up bumper. Any ideas what the issue could be?

Did he look like this right before you hit him?
Seriously though, that does suck.

Thanks for all the comments... Here are the best pics i could get. Looks like the piece of plastic slid right between the horizontal water lines which would explain why there are no coolant leaks. Im still a little puzzled about the cloud of smoke. Going to auto zone late to have them test my A/C pressure.

wow i'm glad that most of you have nothing better to do than make dumbass comments. On a side note i started my car tonight and oil sprayed everywhere i will try to find the leak as soon as the insurance adjuster comes out. For those of you that read posts on here for information i will post the issues once i figure it out.

Insurance adjuster just left, she estimated $2500 in repairs due to a cracked bracket on my drivers headlight housing and a free tow to the BMW dealer 90 miles away. Hope it all goes smooth.
