Trade E90 328i for E92 335i??

So currently I have a 2007 BMW 328i e90 with close to 52,000 miles on it. Recently I stumbled onto a dealer website with a 2008 BMW 335i e92 with 50,200 miles on it. The kicker for the e92 is that is has extended maintenance and warranty till Feb/2014. I really want to trade my car in to get this. The difference between price and trade is a little over $11,000. I cant get the car financed because I'm 19 and my mom has already said they cant co-sign anything for me.

So my question is should I just spend the money and buy the car outright or should I hold onto my 328i e90??

I know nothing else of your life other than that you are 19 and have 11,000 dollars in liquid. Based on that, I would strongly suggest you keep that money for something of more importance later on. Your car is a wonderful bmw, and you can always upgrade later when you're more independent.

Edit to add: There is no reason for me to assume that just because of your age that you are not independent, financially solvent and capable of paying for this car outright while not cutting corners in other places of your life. Just without knowing more about you, I suggest keeping the 11,000 for a rainy day.

All about your finances. If all you have saved up is 11 gs then don't do it. If you have like 50gs just chillin in your bank account, do it.

My adivse is keep the cash and being 19 this car would get you in trouble, 335i is a beast.

There's nothing like an E92 335... one of the only things I spend money on is my car. That was the case when I was 18 and it's still the case today. If you can comfortably afford it, you won't regret it.

As long as you don't end up having to eat cat food or something because you spent everything you have on the car. Heck, even if you do have to eat cat food once or twice a week, this is a car like no other

I've driven the 335i twice now, both test drives, and I must say yes there isn't anything like it. I want that power and torque but I don't think $11000 is worth the increase in power and 2 less doors.

Thank you all. I think I will explore other options (different 335i's) or just be smart and keep my car for awhile.
