Placed order for car in mid July and received production number at that time. It took several weeks for the production number to be recognized either by phone or on the website. My vehicle went into production during week #35 (update available by 800# and confirmed by CA) but I still had no change in status on the website.

To make a long story short I added the vehicle a second time to my account on BMW USA but this time using the VIN-- suddenly all information was available and essentially current.

Hope this is helpful to others obsessing over build progress but not wanting to torture their CA.
