I went to a body shop today to reset my ABS, Brake, DTS light due to some unknown problem(s). My car(08 335i) has a 5D96 code on it. Cant find any suitable info on the net. He has a great snap-on tools and it is unusual that it can not clear the code or get more specific info about the problem.
All it told us that "5D96 Wheel direction front left", first thought was to take the car for alignment but the problem it was on an alignment about 20 miles ago. All laser measurements came out great, so I'im not sure if that's my case.

Any suggestion would be highly appreciated

No idea what that means. Also just an FYI, your title of the thread is making it to where very few people are clicking it. Might want to try reposting it with something about what the issue is. Should help you get more people looking at it.

5D96 and 5D90 error codes are related the wheel sensor system - which would affect your ABS/Brake/DTS systems as they use the wheel speed as an input.

Look into the front wheel speed sensors for a bad unit.

I think the sensor, and the plastic fitting that it plugs into, are around $70 @ ECS tuning - plus its a EZ install...
