Error in 335xdrive order!

Hi guys, so my dealer made a mistake on the order of my new 335 xdrive. My car went into production yesterday and there is no chance to modify. I ordered with leatherette, red stripe and black high gloss, and they're building it with the brush aluminum trim. I know it's not a big difference. They are offering me 200 dollars off, plus a full BMW detail which they claim is above $250, or reorder with another allocation that may be 1-2 weeks behind.

I negotiated 500 above invoice so they said that there's not much they can do. I want them to add a discount on the tire wheel protection as a bonus as well.

What do you guys think?

Make them order another one, 1 or 2 weeks isn't a big deal.

+1 unless you now care more about getting free stuff than getting the car you originally wanted. If that's the case, not sure how much more they can offer you. 200 bucks and a detail isn't much, but you would then basically be getting the car at invoice, so I wouldn't expect them to bend over for you... BUT, I think you would be justified asking for both options, re order and get the 200 and detail for the inconvenience.

Just have them fix it with the right trim parts when the car arrives.

I like the aluminum more, especially for the areas where your hands will touch, like around the iDrive. The gloss black is sleek and shiny, but for cleanliness the aluminum will hold up better and be less prone to scratches, at least that's what it looked like in person.

I wish I could get brushed aluminum in my Msport. I went with hex pattern alum.

I ordered the brushed Aluminium in my M Sport I thought the hex pattern looked a bit too plastic. Why couldn't you order the brushed?

I got them to throw in all weather mats as well. I guess I'm sticking with brushed aluminum.

That's odd-- I don't even think you can order black high gloss trim with aluminum trim finisher with the sport line
