P1890 Code? 2007 335i coupe

HI everyone i have a 07 335i coupe and it has about 91k miles on it, i usually drive everyday but recently took a 10 day vacation. As soon as i got back and drove the car, it felt sluggish. then when i actually hit the gas and reach about 80 mph the CEL comes on. checked code today and came up as p1890. the only mod on my car is jb4. not too much info on exactly what is p1890. there are 2 descriptions that come up.

P1890 ECM Data Input Circuit
P1890 Throttle Position Signal Input

ive read it could be a speed sensor problem, ignition coil problem, alternator/battery problem, tranny problem. nothing really specific. anybody else experienced this? i would appreciate the help
