Part Number for 'bolt holder' piece?
I can't for the life of me figure out what this piece is called, or what the part number is.
The piece is one of the little clips that the two bolts/machine screws thread into that hold the main cowling on in the engine bay (the cowling underneath the cabin air filters). I dropped one of the clips in the engine bay and it's nowhere to be found. It's hard to search realOEM or the archives when I have no idea what the piece is actually called. I assume I can buy these at the dealer? |

Try this illustration on RealOEM: I think item #17. P/N 46637651465 would be my guess. BMW calls the part a plug in nut.
