I've used BMW's OEM touch up paint in the past and it's excellent. Matches perfectly.

I have tried Mitsubishi,Honda, and Acura touch up pens and they have been terrible. The color marched but application was bad. I haven't tried one from BMW.

Most of the applicators I've seen are awful. I tend to use a toothpick and try to drop the smallest possible dot of paint into the chip, building up if needed.

Best tip I can give with these paints is to work quickly - they're usually so thick and dry out quickly. Get some paint in the chip and let it settle.
