Don Juan will take only 11 days to reach NY/NJ...starting 8/25/12

Like many of you, I have been sitting at the port for a while (since 8/13). I am hoping to make it onto the Don Juan this weekend, as this appears to be the next ship that will be heading to NY/NJ.

The departure of the ship has apparently been delayed until Saturday, 8/25, so there will be no Wednesday pick-up this week for those of us with cars headed to NY/NJ. According to the current schedule (it has changed a few times over the past 48 hours), it will move from Bremerhaven to New York / New Jersey in only 11 days, arriving on Wednesday, the 5th of September! Hopefully, many of us will end up on this ship...

I have ordered a 335xi Sport Line, by the way, in Mineral Grey Metallic, with the cold weather, premium, technology, driver assistance, driver assistance plus, and dynamic handling packages, with Harman Kardon sound, black Dakota leather with red highlights, and a manual transmission.

The WW website was just updated with the VIN numbers that are booked on the Don Juan, and my 2013 335i xDrive was there! Cars are apparently being loaded tomorrow, and the ship leaves Bremerhaven on Saturday. It is currently scheduled to arrive in NY/NJ on 9/5/12.

My 328i was built Aug 10th, and I just checked and saw it will be on the Don Juan as well! Nice to see that it's a shorter journey to NY for this trip
