Leasing under my business name

Hi has anyone ever leased under their own business. I own my own business and I wanted to lease through the business instead of myself. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Would the insurance have to be on the business as well?

Leasing through the business is common, depending on your business you may already be paying insurance on other liabilities, such as cargo, fraud, product, or workers comp. You would just need to contact your agent to add on commercial auto, premiums depend on who within your company you're insuring.

The other thing you gotta worry about is whether to classify the car as an operating or capital lease. This has to do more with accounting, you should probably consult with a CPA or whoever does your accounting.

You can do it. The buyer has to be your corp and co signer you have to put your self.
