Removing Amber lenses?
Wondering if anyone has or knows how to remove the amber color from the headlights? It looks integrated into that actual headlight - do I need to replace the entire unit?
Thanks for any help. |

You'd have to pull apart the headlight if it's a lens and not just an amber bulb.

Cheap but easy solution. It's what I have on my SGM e90. Blends well, especially from a far. Get any closer than 18 inches and it looks like a band-aid. But whose looking at your headlights from 18 inches away? |

There's posts on the board about it..
But basically you have to bake the headlights to weaken the adhesive that hold it together, pull them apart, and then reseal. Not for the faint of heart.. |
