$500 over invoice for F30 is this a good deal?

sounds like a better price than what edmunds.com is saying. I have heard of people paying under invoice but I paid $700 over invoice for my 335i

How long did it take you to get this deal? If you got this without much hassle, I would say try and knock off another $1500

Either models what ever you choose, my service advisor said the 328 has sufficient power and the cost is reasonable.

2012 or 2013...if its a 2012, you have a year old car in 30 days. if you are buying the cart. Check values of difference in model years , 3-4 years down the road...if its a lease, no issue.

It's a 2012 model don't think my dealer had the 13 instock.

Than I would push them harder..if buying ( vs leasing) you are losing value as soon as the 2013 cars hit US , likely in next 4 weeks or so. If they still have the cars at that point you should be able to get a better deal (they may be getting help from BMW for leftover stock)

Lease...not an issue since you will be turning back the car based on number of months driven.

I basically got invoice for a 2013 version. I would push harder, but you should look for incentives on the 2012 like the $300 test drive app.

Yea I'm getting the run around on a 2012. I'm going to wait until the 13's hit the US and the im sure to get a better deal!

The 2013 won't get here for another 3-4 weeks but I needed a car soon, timing is not so good.

What is the major differences between the two models?

depends what you want as your configuration. Some of the packages have been tweaked. For me, the 2013 priced out $500. lower than than 2012 and gave me what I wanted on the car (335).

Yea 2013 have more standard but the body is the same! Right now the 2013 are not very expensive and you can custom order instead of what 2012 the dealers have in stock! I have time to see if I can play with prices once the 2013s arrive for real!

then you really don,t have a choice. If you order a 2013 now, you are looking at 90 days minimum unless a dealer has an open allocation that can still be updated.

Between now and July 31st, existing U.S. customers of BMW Financial Services who download The Ultimate Drive app and use it to schedule a test drive can get a voucher worth up to $700 off the first payment on a new 2012 or 2013 BMW financed or leased through BMW Financial Services NA.

After a ong day I ended up with a 2012 E93 328i space gray with premium & M package Nav for the wife, the car listed for $56440 and they gave it away at $50440, it's about $2K under invoice plus 1.9% on finance I can't turn down the deal.
Since the new model is coming out next month and not many dealers have the F30 on hand for selection so I went along with this deal.

All dealers are short on the 2012 and they are trying to get me to order a 2013 instead. I have until august to make a decision I'm hoping the prices start to drop!
