RFT Sensor Malfunction after only 400 miles?

Just over 400 miles on the clock. Went over a speed bump today (not fast) and get a yeallow flashing RFT sensor on the bc display and the warning lights. Eventually the warning light stops flashing and just stays on. Manual says sensor malfunction. I tried resetting it to no avail. This sucks. Anyone else have the same issue?

Make sure it's not punctured. Mine did the same when I got a big screw in the tire, and only had 1000miles on it. Had to replace it. Did you check tire pressure?

Yep...all tires check out on pressure and I have checked them closely for puncture...nothing. The book says the TPM light comes on and stays steady yellow if it isn't detecting a puncture but does detect a malfunction. When I toggle through to reset, it says it is INACTIVE. I think I will take it to the shop tomorrow.

My SA warned me about hitting speeds bumps and objects hard with RFT's since apparently they develop a small leak between the rim and tires.
