damn, those are interesting.. anyone sporting these on their 3er and have pics to share? any heat issue?

im curious how these work on a 3 as the reverse bulb is installed into a Cap that then twists into the hole of the taillight, not the bulb just twisting into a socket.
and since there are wires coming out the back, dont see how it can go into the cap.
do you have this installed on your 3?

just wanted to post the answer to my own question as i do not want possible buyers to be turned off by my questions.
i found this kit on ebay, and it looks like it has changeable orange caps that will allow it to fit into the housing

This will not work for a 2011 E92 as the bulb is one piece which is part of the taillight housing

This kit is for the Reverse, or Back-up lights. The Rear Fogs do not use the reverse bulbs in our cars - so it's not going to make the rear fogs any brighter...
