I have a few questions that I cannot find in the owner's manual. I was wondering if there is a distance indicator or a beep sound or something if I were to start my vehicle and walk a certain distance away from it with the key in my pockets? Also can someone just take off with my car if I start my car but leave it but take Tue remote with me? Is there like an kill engine feature within a certain distance if the remote can no longer be detected?

There is no external indication when you walk away with the key but you do get a message in the car that the key can not be detected. Someone can drive away without the key but the car won't start again once it's turned off. Just make sure you lock the door if you walk way while it's running.

Damn really I thought there would be a theft deterrent to keep it from going into gear etc like most cars.

I would think so too. I guess I am just happy to even have the "comfort access" and the push start ability on mine vehicle. Haha.
