What is the best looking trim in your opinion for this Combo?

Hey guys, What do you think is the best trim for a Jet Black / Coral Red interior.

I am deciding between Aluminum trim or Gray poplar Trim. I've seen them both Red with Silver seems like too much for the eyes, and when I saw gray poplar on red at a dealership and i wasn't 100% satisfied with it, as i was when i saw it online on the bmw website (build your own bmw). Im thinking it might have been the sunlight on the trim, i only got a look from the outside.

What would you guys go with? If anyone can post pictures of Red/Gray poplar combo id really appreciate it. Any gray poplar color combo would be great as well too. Thanks!

Grey Poplar cause the Aluminum is sorta played out and everywhere, while the Gray Poplar is something that's visually interesting.

Hope this helps. Thought about alum too but thought wood would wear better physically (dents & scratches) and also not looked dated down the road.

I voted for aluminum, but after seeing this pix, I now say Grey poplar FTW.

My thoughts exactly, I'm really pissed about that.

The grey poplar bridges the gap between boring (cliche) aluminum and the old man style of normal woods.

I want grey poplar fuckers! You hear me you kraut jerks?

Sedan guys what's available on the coupes. Coupe guys want the "individual" stuff you can't get in the states. Those without just want BMWs.

I have the dark walnut and it looks awsome! Makes a better transition to the black parts of the instrumental panel IMO.
