Question KW V3 Height Adjustment issue....

Hi guys!

Need some KW experts out here to help me out.....

When set to lowest height settings, there is a difference of 20mm on the front shock body adjusters......

Is this normal?????

Alpine White 1M Coupe - everything stock except for the KW V3 coilovers.

Hope to hear from you guys soon......

Thanks!!!

are you talking about the distance between the shock and tires?

Nope.

Can you see the difference of the height adjuster from the 2 pic I posted?

Pics taken is left & right front setup.

got it but i'm still not understanding what you mean by lowest setting?

Both adjusters should freely adjust all the way up and down. When i had mine installed and set up here's my settings.

Street - distance from bottom of adjuster
driver side = 16mm
pass side = 14mm

Track
driver side = 20mm
pass side = 18mm

we kept a 2mm difference between driver and passenger side (assumption that i was driving alone with no passengers)

But 20mm difference is alot from one side to the other.

BTW, why are you running that cover over the springs?

This is the lowest the adjuster can go for the left side.....

Tire to fender is the same gap for both sides but the right side adjuster still have 20mm more to play with.....

Just wanna know if this is normal as I know each corner of the car weighs differently & hence the adjusters on all four corners will have differences....

BTW, those black plastic hose covers helps eliminate spring rubbing sounds.......

Frank,

What's your front tires to fenders gap measurements both left & right side with the way you adjust the height from measuring from the inner front height adjusters??

Please sure.....

Any other bros with KW V3 care to share their settings on their 1M??
