Do you drive on a daily basis with your Cowl off?

Just curious how many are doing this, I know you can here the engine/turbos more, and the ECU box is weather proof I think?..

Water is prone to drip on the turbo's and exhaust which can crack if it rains and other areas of the engine. Not worth it IMO.

You can still put it on without the cowl. Just use the top screws

The engine noise without the cowl sounds terrible IMO. It's like extra knock noise....

But whatever it's your car dude.

Open your hood immediately after heavy rain and report back. I didn't like what I saw.

Well, you're in Phoenix, I doubt you see much rain over in your part of the country. Wouldn't want to do that in NYC with rain, sleet and snow.

With out the cowling water drains down into the blower motor and from there straight on to the passengers floor board. Not to mention looks pretty trashy when some one wants to look under your hood. Then again so do dci in any shape or form, and meth pumps/lines...
