A while ago I was driving and my car's check engine light came on.
Turned it off and went away, never worried about it. Today - took the cobb out to take to the dealership for some work and I checked engine codes and got the following So help help help P30FC H30FF H30FC H2D25 |

if you unistall cobb it clears the codes so those must have come up after that. Anyway seems you have a leak somewhere. lots of threads if you search up the codes.
Which map were you running?

I've never been able to find information on the codes that begin with H. Google doesn't turn up anything.
H30FF H30FC H2D25 Does anyone know what they mean? |

Remove the first letter and search the codes in here.
Again which map were you running? V301, V400?

You must be running old firmware since 2D25 is being suppressed with more recent firmware releases.

Ahh, thanks enrita, gboop, didn't know that. They aren't on mine now but I remember pulling similar codes up on older firmware, haven't checked since the beta updates.

Upgrade to the V401 firmware(make sure you have the latest AP manager downloaded first) and run that. Those codes are normal and it's just a matter of chance if you trigger them IIRC. The 30FF is a boost leak code, so you MAY have a boost leak but some people see it without actually having a problem.
Log req boost, actual boost, WGDC both banks and if you have a leak your WGDC will try to compensate for it and you'll be able to see it. |

Plug your AP into the car and select monitor->set data log list-> and then scroll through the list and x out the channels you want to log.(I do boost, rpm, lambda bank 1&2, timing cyl 1&2, charge air temp, TPS actual, WGDC bank 1&2, load requested and actual load) Find a SAFE place where you can do a 2nd-3rd gear pull and then select monitor-> data log-> and click the center button right before you go WOT. It will save the file as a .csv and you transfer it to your computer. You can graph it using excel or virtual dyno( http://www.bradbarnhill.com/projects/VirtualDyno/ ) Then post up your logs and people will help you to read and understand them. Hope this helps!!! |
