I think Mike @ n54tuning.com and Terry @ Burgertuning.com (BMS) are two different places... I got my socket from BMS... Have you tried both?

If all else fails, just do as the others say, knock the magnet out of the Sears one, or grind down a standard 12pt socket and then use a telescoping magnet to lift it out.

They are different places. but Mike sells a lot of BMS products. That's where I got my BMS spark plug tool

Best one I have found, there is no magnet to knock out there is a rubber piece that holds the plugs in place perfectly.

It works great

This one is great. I like to take the rubber piece out when re-installing and tightening the plugs though - otherwise, it tends to stay on the plug after you take the socket out.

also worked great for me. No reason to buy a special tool that you're only going to use 2 or 3 times.

I got one the spark plug socket for my 328i and when I changed my spark plugs today it did not fit. I use some other socket I had in the house instead. What a waste of money. Does the Canada and US 328i use a different socket?

Yeah I only ordered the spark plug socket from BMS because I was picking up a couple other things too. Luckily I already have a spark plug socket that works perfectly fine today when the BMS spark plug socket didn't fit.
