Any one running catless downpipes???

I wanna run catless downpipes with stock exhaust. Only thing is i live in new york, will i pass for inspection? I dont wanna get them if i am going to throw a check engine light. I have a jb4 tuner if that has anything to do with it. Help please

Being from NY, I am guessing you will need the O2 SIM. I believe BMS makes it. You will need it to pass readiness on the OBD scan.

I have catless dp with the O2 simm from burger tuning. I just got my car inspected and it passed without any problems.

I'm in NYC, and i'm Fully Catless, Just purchase BMS Downpipe fix V3 from burgertuning[.]com and you're good to go. Theres tons of us here in ny that are catless, you'll be alright.

I'm running catless DP's with a Cobb AP. We don't have to pass sniff tests in upstate so you just have to pass the OBDII readiness. The BMS fix will do that.

Guicci, I was wandering the same thing, till I read this thread. Also, it turns out that if you have a JB4 you don't require this downpipe fix as mentioned on their site (http://www.burgertuning.com/dpfix.html). So glad I got a JB4!

No no, this is a brand new topic regarding cutting edge modifications never done before. There's no record of any "cattless downpipes" for this engine as of yet!

The JB4 will autoclear the CEL from showing up on the dash. However, it does NOT check for readiness and you will need to purchase a DP fix to pass an OBII sniffer/scan test.
