any performance gain w/ muffler swap?

I deleted my resonator last week and like the way it sounds, but I still want a little more grunt. I was going to swap the OEM mufflers for some Mahnaflow's, but will I see any performance gain? I don't want to make it louder just for the sake of making it louder. But it is still just a tad too quiet for my taste.

There's downpipes ranging from around $300 and up.
Just do it

I figured as much. I'll bite the bullet and just do a whole exhaust with downpipes. For now, I'll just leave what I have.

I'll do some searching on the forum for downpipe info.

Just get a used set from this forum. I recently purchased a set of Agency Power downpipes for a very reasonable price and they work great. Yes they were a little banged up and used but to me downpipes are downpipes and having them is better than not having them.

Along with that I have a Cobb tune and the downpipes with the Cobb tune sounds really really nice.

What?

Get the VRSF downpipes. They shouldn't be any more expensive than fabbing up Magnaflow mufflers and will sound way better. And they actually give you a performance gain.

Definitely DPs. I have AAs and really like them. VSRF seems to be making good ones for cheaper, I would have gone with those

the magnaflows will atleast save you almost 30lbs or so, our stock mufflers are heavy as hell. if youre going for a deeper, louder tone first try deleting second cats, youll love the sound trust me.
