Umm, are you talking about the white discoloration to the right of the muffler

Yes. I was washing the car yesterday and noticed what appeared to be rust coming through the finish. The other side is not as bad, but I'm certainly not impressed. I've always had aftermarket exhaust systems on all my bikes, but this is the first time I've had one on a car. I know it's a much harsher environment, but I thought would be taken into account.

Get some metal polish and clean it up.

Sounds great. But is there a longer term issue? I'm going to take it to the dealer who installed it and see what he says. I was wondering if anybody else has had this happen?

You should first call Dinan warranty department. You do have a two year warranty on that exhaust. Take better pics of the rust because it is not clear in the pic you posted.

Will do. About to move from Stage 2 to Stage 3 tuning and suspension and have had no troubles with anything from Dinan so far.
