after market exhaust people chime in.

So I just bought a used RPI catback and it seem like one muffler is heavier then the other? Is this common or is there a reason for this?

Is it a significant difference... it shouldn't matter.

Yeah I find it odd as well but no rattles. Tonight after work I'm going to give them a good rattle see if I hear anything. Maybe one is packed tighter to help make the tone it will make?

weigh them to get some numbers and call RPI. i doubt theyd use different mufflers; i'm sure the factory assembles a pile of mufflers and just grabs two identical ones when they weld your system together

Yeah I don't know what to do since I bought it used! I've emailed them and tried to message them on here, nothing. I will give them a call tomorrow, I hope there's a reason behind it and that I don't have a bad set of mufflers.

I'm talking about my RPI exhaust mufflers weighing different. I actually weighed them last night and one muffler is 3lbs heavier then the other? (the RPI that is)
