HELP!!! e91 not starting, and not receiving any electricity

My e91 has recently been acting up. Today when i went to start her up, first off i had to open the car with the key itself, the car was getting no electricity at all. Radio didn't work, steering wheel would not unlock, simply nothing the car seemed like it was dead. Jumping it did not work, so please give me ideas on what could be wrong.

I've never had an issue like this with my car, but someone had a similar issue when their key no longer was "linked" with the car. You know the security device in the key...that's what the problem was. Not sure if it's the same issue you're having or not but it's the only thing I can think of. Let us know how you make out.

Is there any way to relink the key with the car? Sucks because i only have one key for the car, so i have no way to test this out.

Should clear things up. Hope it helps. In the process of replacing mines. For now just remove the fuse cover and pull the red wire towards you.

Glad I can help. this should be a saftey recall. Pretty dangerous when your car shuts of suddenly when in traffic. Especially when people don't know what the problem is. I read in most cases people tow it and have in diagnose and the dealer charge them an arm and a leg which sucks.
