Nokia And Bmw

I just bought an N95 and when I attempted to pair it with my car's Bluetooth it fails to connect. The car is a BMW 335 e92 . It has been pairing with my Samsung D606 for the last 3 months and is able to make and receive calls via the Samsung.

Its sad that both Nokia and BMW refuse to accept there is a problem and even worse that neither company seem to have any plans to resolve the situation.

Anyone got any suggestions?

thanks for paying attention .

Mine's pairing fine and I can receive and dial out calls but no phonebooks. However, it wouldn't work the iPod (wouldn't switch over to phone and mute the iPod when I attempt to make a call). Weird........

It's the symbian OS that's causing the problem and neither party are willing to work out a solution for the end user.

That's too bad 'cause I like Nokia's and Symbian, but my Dash works perfectly so no Nokia for me.

There's a new N95 firmware out there that fixes the connection problem and lets you sync the phone book to the bmw's bluetooth system for voice command usage. I can't sync the phone book with my Nokia E65 but connection always work and not once did it drop.

Hope I don't burst your bubble. I have the N95 and did the update a week ago. It still does not work correctly.

Before my update, I would have my BT constantly drop and than resync up. It still acts like this even with the firmware update. So I have disabled it for the time being.
