H8 high beam/angle eye

Hi, I recently purchased an use 2008 E90 M3 6mt sedan. I am pretty sure I have the high beam because I flashed couple times at night but I notice I don't have the day time running light on either during the day or at night (OEM angel eye on) In my navi, I did have the check mark on the day time running light option. Yes my HID low beam is set on auto and it works.
Is it something with my unit?

Please help. This is my first BMW. I have a lot to learn.

Thanks

May want to check and see if the bulbs are there and/or if they're good as a first step.

No, they do not. They are totally different bulbs.
