I have neither the iDrive nor the USB options.
I did get a garmin 350 nuvi, and am burning a few cds with mp3 on them.

Most of the driving I do is less than 45 minutes, and each of the MP3 cds has over 100 songs on it.

I bought a car off the lot, but probably would have put the USB on an ordered car, but I think this is a great alternative being able to play mp3s in the in dash cd player.

So, instead of thousands and thousands of songs, plus an ipod that can get stolen out of my E93 335, i have 200 songs in dash.

THere are a lot of you out there that more is better for your music, and I hope you use the USB system.
