ipod question

hey so i have searched but all i got was the threads about having ipod integrated, could i just buy a wire and plug my nano in to the AUX, if so can someone tell me what its called and how much it costs?

I call it a patch wire. You should be able to get one at a dollar store for $1.

They're very common.

It's called an AUX wire, you go to your local radio shack and buy one for under 8 bucks. You can get fancy gold plated ones etc. I recently found a really skinny gold plated AUX cable in my house. After I bought one from Radio Shack. Works great but now I need a charger since the ipod dies after a week.

Usually people use a charger/low level output such as from Belkin or Monster which charges the unit as well.

You don´t want to use the headphone output as that is not line level.
