Down fall to a BOV?

Been hearing loss of boost w installing of a BOV??? What the deal???

Maybe some of the charge pipes might come with sub par couplers? It shouldn't be a problem if you do it right.

Just get a quality kit, and you shouldn't have any issues. I have the Synapse kit and never had a single issue. No adjustment, spring change needed. The throttle response in much improved over the stock dv's.

Other then the "swooooch" sound there is no disadvantage as long as you don't buy junk.

Installed my AA bov without a clue on how to do it Through a lot of cuss words and staring at the engine bay I got it in. I've noticed no drop in boost.
