installed COBB AP today!
well, I was all worried about the install, but it was super simple. I am using the 93 octane aggressive stage 1 map. I really can\'t believe the difference and I haven\'t got to drive it much yet. but in my opinion its literally a total transformation. but one weird thing, I have a turner motorsports cat back exhaust and it seemed to be pretty loud. with the cobb installed it seems quieter. I dont know off its just my imagination. but overall I\'m stunned at this setup.

Better air fuel ratio with the Cobb?...wonder if that may alter exhaust note at different levels.
I need to get one! I'm getting desperate lol |

I havent heard much about the turner motorsports exhaust set up. Im running the akrapovic SS exhaust and AR downpipes and it sounds like a MONSTER. Akrapovic really makes the best products in my personal opinion. I dont know if I felt so much of a gain, but the sound is just absolutely amazing throughout the whole entire RPM range. No drone no rasp.

I installed mine yesterday, 93 aggressive linear map. It seems like its lacking low end torque and high end ( above 3300 rpms) seems like power comes out of nowhere. my exhaust got a deeper tone right after the install.. it almost feels uncomfortable to hit WOT like before. my 2cents.

Congrats on the new Cobb unit. I too have the TMS exhaust and it kind of bums me out to hear that it subdued the exhaust note a bit with the tune. Oh well. It wont stop me from getting a Cobb unit as well.

I actually bought the TMS exhaust from a local guy that sold his car. I love the way it sounds. It doesnt seem like a lot of people on this forum have the TMS exhaust,. But when I first heard the sound of it on their website, I wanted it. So I think its a good choice when your ready. And thank you again for all your advice.

By the way, if I want to use the AP as a boost gauge obviously it has to be plugged in. But do I have to unplug the unit every time I get out of the car because it stays on when the car is off? Im guessing there is no power button on the AP?
