must have mods with a new tune?
I recently purchased a cobb ap for my 07 335i w a sport package (oil cooler)
I am pretty new to turbo engines.. so wandering if i will need any additional cooling upgrades to run the new tune safely? From what i'v been able to find on the forums, it sounds like a better inter-cooler is a good idea. Is this truly the case? Will i be safe running the stock one for a while.. is the heat soak the only real problem with the stock one? any other cooling upgrades a must w just tune? this car is a DD for me with an occasional track day here and there. I highly doubt i'll do any other engine mods outside the tune/ic so i am focused more on longevity vs additional hp. |

LSD + good tires + suspension will help you lay that power down to the road. Since you are a 2007, do you have an oil cooler? If not, I would do that next. If you want cooling, methanol and FMIC will prevent any sort of heat soak.
