I got a production # on 12/19. It went in to phase 2 "production ends" 1/18 so we're talking a month.

Usually 3 weeks or thereabouts for shipping from Germany. However, even if your car gets here quicker than that, expect BMW to hold it until February 11, when the car is officially released in the US.

Mine is "at the port awaiting a shipping vessel" per the BMW 800#. My current '09 335d took 22 days from end of production until I had the key in hand. I'm on the east coast though. The actual boat ride from Bremerhaven to Baltimore took 12 days last time. I think it's an extra 7 days to the west coast. If time to delivery is the same this time, I'll get the car on Feb. 11. Since yours is leaving a week before mine, you'll probably get it then to. To get the cars to west coast dealers for launch they'd have to send those cars first.

Wahoo. My 328i is aboard the Costa Concordia. But there appears to be a clich in the tracking because I haven't gotten an update in over two weeks. I hope it's alright.

Add to that the time at the prep center and time for delivery. So probably 4 weeks total. I know the time from order to delivery of my 535i was about 6 weeks.

I've not got a quote yet. Last time I got the Kelly Blue Book value in trade which would be about $28K for the car. I have 42K miles on it. I'm going to have carmax quote as well, but last time it was identical to what the dealer offered. I also have a friend interested in purchasing it.
