air whistle after I release gas pedal

car is stock. when i rev the engine and release the pedal, a "whoosh" sound is heard.. kind of like a BOV but quieter... is this normal?

That would be your diverter valves.

When the weather gets colder the diverter valves get louder when they release pressure. The colder the louder
