335 exhaust inlet outlet diameter

I was wondering what the 335 stock exhaust inlet and outlet diameters were and also if it was center/center, center/offset, or offset/offset. Was looking to purchase some borla universal mufflers. Thanks!

I am wondering the same thing as I am thinking of swapping out my mufflers when my car comes out of storage

Let me know what mufflers you go with.

each connection piping is 2.25. Upgraded aftermarket exhaust systems use 2.50 tubing all around.

I had universal mufflers at one point. You need offset / offset. The stock exhaust comes close together around the differential and then splits apart again to go out to the tips. So you need the inlets as far in to the middle as possible and the outlets as far out as possible.

Brey.. Did you like the universal mufflers? And did you have the 2.25 inlet outlet diameter just to double check that is right

No. I thought they were too quiet and didn't sound as good as the stock mufflers did. Save your money, buy the BMW PE and call it a day.

And idk about the diameter. I bought it used.
