golf tee problem

AE exhaust is installed on my 2008 335xi sedan, i did not plug the vacume line where u would normally plug it with a golf tee. and my conector in the trunk i unplugged that. im throwing 30ff codes and shit...do you think having the vacume hose not plugged could POSSIBLY be doing this?

There is a plastic underbody panel at the left rear corner of the bumper. Remove the 8mm head screws and check over there.

This is almost certainly NOT the reason for your code. I confirmed this for myself with both BMW and a BMW sport race driver. I do not have my line plugged but I do have the power disconnected in the trunk. I have the BMW Performance Exhaust and have 50k on my car. Never had a fault or shaow code. Your issue is pure coindidence but you will need to look further as it will be something else.

Where should i look? BMW checked the vacume lines and all that and said it was due to modifications...i ran a JB+ at 100 percent without bypass for a few weeks but i took it off when it started throwing these codes. and it wont stop throwing the codes. my dealership i usually go to refuses to look into it any further due to an bms dci and AE exhaust...

30FF is a common problem and its hard to find, search for it.

The diverter valves is where I would start looking first.

This is the first thing i did to my car 7months plus ago and def no codes result from it. That's even after going to the dealer for various visits they said nothing about it.

The JB+ strikes again, that thing is pure garbage and I feel bad for anyone who uses it.

IDK about the burnt rubber smell possible some item is touching par tof the engine and melting def not normal.

I have a full AE catless Exhaust and it only smells a bit rich sometimes, nothing that does not bother me.

UPDATE, I took the car to the dealer, 30ff code still thown. they dont know whats wrong. i cant find my vacum line for the exhaust flap where is it located? (i didnt do exhaust install)

I bought the BAVTECH ENTHUSIAST cable and everytime WOT i get the half filled engine light right around 6500 rpm. i dont get it as much when i start from a stand still, but when i take a hard pull from 3rd gear using my automatic paddle shifters (LOL) the engine sounds a bit different and i get the code. I cleared codes and did it again and still came up. The dealer insists its not fuel pumps. what could be doing this? the only code that is thrown is 30FF. they checked the stock black diverter pipe and supposedly ALL the hosing. Where should i look next? I am taking it to a local tuner shop for them to investigate, what exactly should i say to them to look at??
my car is acting super laggy and slow, its really pushing my buttons.
Thanks guys. I REALLY need advice. ASAP,.

Regardless of your 30FF issue, plug the hose or you will have a vacuum leak.

So u think just having that not plugged created a boost leak? Where exactly is it located?

Just plug it. Its on the driverside rear section of the exhaust. It's a black tube. It takes 3 seconds to know if it worked.

Always go back to basics. ITs always the simple stuff. If you know its unplugged then plug it

So I called the guy who installed my AE quad exhaust and he said he plugged it and tucked it. He was super busy and didn't explain where he tucked it. I want to make sure its plugged good. How far from the exhaust tip is it located? I am also planning on removing engine cover to look for leaks under there with those two vacume lines. What is the easiest way to remove engine cover? I read through some threads but none of them are super clear on how to do it. What's the easiest steps to take to remove?
