A member has been bugging the living hell out of me (j/k) to get these photos and post them. These are the basics of what Sirius Sat. radio looks like with iDrive.

you do lose functionality compared to stand alone sat radio units

but it's still so darn nice

After you play with it you forget about the stand alone units. That and they aren't integrated so there are wires and what not floating about the cabin...besides...there's no need for any more functions than it has already.

Its a sweet setup.

Just tried voice command on Sirius tonight and it worked ("Sat radio channel ##"). Nice; saves some idrive knob twisting, once you know the stations.

Besides Categories what other options can you browse by? Is it just browse by channel or category?

I am still on the fence about this one. Not sure it is really needed since i have 6FL installed?!?!?

Have you ever used the Internet listening option with Sirius? It works basically the same way. You select the category then the channel.

Between the programmable memory keys, and voice commands that can take you directly to a channel, it's pretty good. I've never had any other type of sat radio unit, so I don't know what I'm missing.

There are times when you just can't decide what to listen to on the iPod, or you'll be in the car for a short time, etc. and it's nice to have sat.
