Just got PWM kit, need to upgrade diverter valve?
As title says I got a great deal on an used PWM kit, going to be running vishnu DCI, HPF FMIC, PWM, and Rev 2.5 for now. Downpipes will follow after I get sick of the power
Do i need to upgrade my diverter valve? or BOV setup? To run this setup at its full potential? Thanks Travis |

Ok good, its just for some reason I remember reading Shiv say that once you go Meth, the boost gets pumped up to the point the stock DV cant hold the boost.
PWM is going to be here beginning of next week, so I have some time to study the DIY install, doesn't look like its going to be the easiest thing in the world. Thanks for the help, Travis |

Here is a log of the PWM kit with stock diverter valves running 17 psi just fine.
I have forge diverter valves but had removed them a while back and the stock ones seem to hold boost quite well. But the forge have stiffer springs, so you will have a crispser throttle feel with them. The only downside to this is that you get a bit higher backpressure to the turbos when you close down the throttle plate - before the valves crack open. . . . |

FYI I've pushed almost 21 psi through the stock DVs no problem. Unless they're damaged I don't see any need for concern.
