Wind noise from passenger window?

Hello,
I started to get wind noise coming in from my passenger window when i go above ~60 mph. It is very annoying, does anyone know how I can fix this? do i need to replace the old rubber surrounding the door?

Man ive had the same problem and its annoying as fuck (guessing you drive a e92). Since i already had my car into the dealer for some other minor things i had them look into this, after the 2nd visit they finally duplicated the noise and said they adjusted some things in the door for a better seal. since then the passenger side is perfectly fine and the driver side has wind noise. i just gave up and gonna deal with it

According to my SA, the seal was fine. they said there is some sort of vertical adjustment that can be made with the regulator to help it seal properly

I had the same type of problem when I got my car. I took in to the dealer, and it was diagnosed and needed a vertical window regulator adjustment. $110 later, it was fixed.

The frameless doors rely on the vertical and in/out position of the window.

Start with cleaning and conditioning all rubber seals in contact with the window. Any type of dirt/debris can mess the seal against the window.

You may also need to get the window regulator adjusted as others have said. I had to do it in my E46M, where I had the window push up hard towards the center of the vehicle - however, this significantly slowed down the actuation of the window.

It will probably be a combination of both. Hopefully someone here can chime in to the E92 adjustment.

That's one thing I don't miss about the coupe doors. Thank God for the framed E90 - seals perfect every time.

I am going to bump this thread because I can't seem to find any sort of answer. There has to be some sort of DIY guide for the regulator adjustment.

... and yes, I have done the reset. My passenger side window is still about 1/4 off in the rear most corner of the window from hitting the seal.

ANY answers would be helpful.

I have the same issue. I will definitely give this DIY a try. What did you guys use to condition the rubber seals?

I use only Gummi Pflege, it works and it's cheap. BMW now has some rubber protector that costs like $60, but you can still get Gummi Pflege for like $6.

---When you do this DIY let us know how it worked out.

I assume that I can get this at any automotive store.

I will definitely update everyone after performing this DIY. Living in the high desert, I have to deal with high winds and this issue is driving me insane!

I've never been able to find it at any automotive store. BMW used to sell it, but stopped for some reason? Probably because they weren't making enough money on it. I've always had to order it online.

online..http://www.amazon.com/einszett-91480.../dp/B004B8GTQG

I guess it's $8 not $6, plus shipping.. Still, it's a bargain compared to the stuff BMW is now selling, Carbaflow, or something that. This product does a good job stopping the squeaks we get on the e92 doors, also works great and is safe for all e9x rubber seals.
