trade 2008 335i for 2011 335is?

Question is whould you trade my 2008 335i (mods in sig). I would remove all mods except m3 wishbone & tennsion links..just don't have the tme. For a CPO 2011 335is fully loaded wth DCT tranny, with900 miles on it? My 335i has 50k on it.

Anyone know if the 335is has the same suspension as the i?

Just trying to see what you all think.
Thanks.

$$$ wise, no. I wouldn't. You are going to take a haircut to trade your car for the same car only it has some spoilers? Seriously if its the 50K miles that worries you, get an aftermarket warranty.

Nope. You're gonna lose a lot of money. I'd rather sell the mods and pick up a used M3.

Mine now is CPO till 2014 or 100k. It is just got some stuff i wish i had on mine like idrive and i love the color grey with coral. I figured that i loose about 5-6k a year in depriciation and milage that it may be worth it in the long run. Besides that you are very right in saying they are almost the same car. Thanks for your opinion.

youd lose more on the 335is over time.

imho, go do a retro fit for the navi if thats what you really care about. everything else is so secondary.

i dont even think the dct is really worth the hype given the $ we are talking about.

+1, not to mention the DCT can't hold big power yet.

It's the same car man. If you change cars, you might as well get something totally different (M3, or e92 vs e90, etc.)

The 335is is a little lower and stiffer then the 335i, I know this because I traded in my 2008 335i 6MT for the 2011 335is 6MT, you will not regrat the trade!! SO DO IT!!!

Not only that, but all the talk about the DCT cant hold big power yet is mere conjecture based on those who dont know how to launch there cars from a dead stop but floor it and then clutch slip happens.

When clutch slip happens at LC then they should come back with the arguement
